Login and Deposit to Your Account
To start betting at gemex, first go to the gemex Login page and log in with your username and password — your dashboard will appear right after.
After logging in, go to the Deposit section. The minimum deposit at gemex is ৳500. You can pay via bKash, Nagad, Rocket, Upay or bank transfer — major Bangladeshi banks including Dutch Bangla, BRAC and Islami Bank are supported.

Finding Betting Markets and Reading Odds
When you enter the Sports section at gemex, you will see a list of matches. Each match shows odds as a number. gemex uses decimal format — multiply that number by your stake to get the total return.
The same team's price can be written in three formats. For example, if Team A wins: Decimal 3.00 = Fractional 2/1 = American +200. A ৳200 bet returns ৳600 if won (৳400 profit + ৳200 stake) — if lost, the full ৳200 is gone.
Favourite example: Team B's winning price is Decimal 1.80 = Fractional 4/5 = American -125. A ৳200 bet returns ৳360 (৳160 profit). American minus odds mean — how much you need to stake to win ৳100.

Bet Slip — Single and Multi Bets
Clicking on a market adds it directly to the bet slip. If there is only one selection, it is a single bet. Enter your stake in the stake box and the potential return is shown automatically.
Adding multiple selections to the slip creates a multi bet. In a multi bet, all odds are multiplied together — you need every selection to be correct to receive the full return.
Example: if three selections have decimal odds of 1.40, 1.60 and 1.90, the combined odds are 1.40 × 1.60 × 1.90 = 4.26. A ৳100 bet returns ৳426 — but if even one selection loses, the full ৳100 is gone. Multi bets offer the chance of a bigger return but carry higher risk.
Before confirming your bet, review everything on the slip — selection, stake and potential return. When satisfied, press the "Place Bet" button to submit.

How Betting Exchange Works
BACK Bet
A BACK bet means betting in favour of a team. Example: Team A's decimal odds are 2.50. If you BACK ৳500 — you win ৳750 if Team A wins (before commission); if they do not win, you lose ৳500.
BACK BetLAY Bet
A LAY bet means betting against a team — you take on the role of the bookmaker. If you LAY ৳500 against Team A, your liability is ৳750 (৳500 × 1.50); if Team A does not win you gain ৳500, if they do win you pay out ৳750.

Viewing Bet History and Settled Bets
After placing a bet, go to "My Bets" or "Bet History" to see a record of all your bets. There are two tabs:
Open Bets
Bets whose results have not yet been determined appear here — including live bets placed during a match.
Settled Bets
Once a match ends, the bet is settled. Winnings are added to your balance; losing stakes are deducted. Each settled bet shows the stake, odds and result.
Withdraw
A minimum of ৳800 is required to withdraw winnings. Withdrawals are typically processed within 30 minutes to 3 hours.
Set a Budget Before You Start Betting
